The world first hybrid wellboat are using HEX drum filters delivered by Cflow securing healthy water quality for the salmons.
Everything is developed through interdisciplinary collaboration between engineers and biologists to secure that the fish welfare is optimized in every process on board. The close collaboration between Nordlaks, NSK Ship Design, and Tersan Shipyard has resulted in excellent solutions, both for the fish and the operator onboard.
Cflow was selected to deliver the technical side of water quality management in the tanks and use HEX Drum Filter to ensure the best possible particle control. The drum filters handle the water filtration without pressure, resulting in additional removal of foam, protein and lice egg in slime strings. See more in the video below:
