Your Responsibilities and Tasks

As CM Aqua Sales Engineer & Biologist, you will be based in Trondheim and work closely together with the Sales Manager for Norway, whom you will report to. You will leverage on your knowledge of aquaculture to develop commercial propositions and your key tasks will be:

  • Collaborate to strengthen CM Aqua presence in Norway, interacting with clients together with the Sales Manager Norway.
  • The aim is to be more proactive towards OEM for both RAS and Ships in Norway and grow the business selling CM Aqua top products such as HEX drums, Ratz Skimmers, and solutions like LiftUp or fish transport tanks.
  • Continue building a CM Aqua knowledge platform in Norway, so customer requests are handled efficiently and locally.
  • Liaise with CM Aqua clients and seek relevant data from CM Aqua installations to create further business opportunities.
  • Share knowledge with, coordinate and work together with CM Aqua colleagues around the world, gaining project and client exposure internationally. You will travel around Norway and occasionally also abroad.

Your Skills & Experience

As an ideal candidate for this exciting role, you:

  • Have a relevant educational background, e.g. in the field of biology or technology/engineering, that can be applied to aquaculture and will allow you to gain understanding of CM Aqua solutions and their applications for clients.
  • Have already gained practical experience with salmon, especially from e.g., de-lice ships, well boats, or land-based aquaculture farms in Norway.
  • While it is not required that you already have direct experience in sales, you are used to and motivated to advise customers and business partners.
  • Your knowledge must be at a level allowing you to have conversations with CM Aqua customers about salmons and this way fast learn the core knowledge needed to advise about filtration.
  • You will do that by leveraging on the capabilities listed above, but also on your strong interpersonal- and communication skills. You have native/fluent Norwegian language skills and speak good English.
