Beltfilters have been supplied to RAS systems, well boats and de-sealicing barges for draining of back flush water from drumfilters and other filtersystems in order to reduce volume of loaded water from upstream process water.
Sealice is concentrated by draining on the belt, typical 150 micron, filtered water is returned back to drumfilters, so it’s a 100 % closed loop, only the concentrated lot of sealice is scraped off at the top of the belt and dumped into a container for destruction.
