Sales Manager Technical for CM Aqua
CM Aqua produce and deliver state of the art equipment for water treatment for international aquaculture. The company is experiencing substantial growth, and to cover new opportunities and further strengthening their commercial presence, they now wish to bring in new sales power.
CM Aqua are therefore seeking a Sales Manager (Technical) to join their team. In this new position in an established and growing organization, you will play a key role and contribute to the company’s continued success.
The right person for the role has technical sales experience, strong communicative skills, a collaborative attitude, and last but not least the ability to seeing the customer’s challenge as an opportunity for support and joined success.
Your responsibilities and tasks
Your main tasks will include sales towards own customers, regions and segments, while building strong client relationships working on own and team initiatives.
Together with competent colleagues in the sales team, you will use your analytical approach and strong collaborative skills to support and develop global customers on full aquaculture system knowledge and thereby optimization of individual functions. As the Sales team representor in projects, you will secure right and fit for purpose product portfolio.
Your skills and experience
In this role, you will achieve success by practicing the ability to listen and understand customers’ needs and act as advisor, showing maturity, credibility, and trustworthiness. You possess solid stakeholder management skills at all levels. And with a professional, calm and down to earth style you demonstrate leadership externally towards suppliers and customers. Simultaneously, you build long term trust with both clients and internal colleagues in different companies and countries.
Teamwork is essential, and CM Aqua expect their new Sales Manager to be motivated to support the team in a constructive and open-minded manner and listen to others’ ideas. You have an overall understanding of company strategy and are following best practice. Showing sense of initiative and putting forward new suggestions for further improvement comes naturally to you.
We imagine you have a technical background, i.e. an engineer experienced with system design, coming from aquaculture, water treatment units, wind power, renewable energy, food production companies or the like.
You have international experience and cultural insights from turn-key site installations. Understanding and speaking one or several of the Scandinavian languages is required, so is fluency in English.
The role is based in Farum, with availability for occasional traveling to CM Aqua and clients’ sites globally.

As part of the CM Aqua Sales Team, you will be a key and trusted sparring partner to the leadership team: and will report directly to the CEO.
